Plies, Positions, Perfection! Come stretch your muscles and your imagination by learning ballet basics! Students will be introduced to the basics of movement, musicality, and ballet technique in a fun environment that fosters growth and development of their personal strengths.

Summer Continuing Ballet

This class is for dancers who want to continue to improve their technique through the summer. Pointe is included in the class time, but students do not need to be en pointe to participate. This is a great opportunity to build strength, and sharpen skills. This is not a beginner class. This is a class open to students who are currently in Orange, Teal, Peach, Vermillion, and Red, or with teacher approval.

Returning Ballet Workshop


Summer break doesn’t have to mean a break from dancing. Join us this summer to keep your ballet muscles strong and your muscle memory stronger! Students must have previous ballet experience to join this workshop.

Nutcracker Summer Session

This class is for all students who wish to participate in the holiday “Nutcracker, Sweet” in the Corps de Ballet or in a solo role.  We will be learning the big corps dances and the solo work during this week.  Starting in September there will be one evening rehearsal a week to keep everything fresh and to polish the final details.  

In order to participate in the Nutcracker in the Corps de ballet or in a solo role you must be available for both the summer session and the once a week Class starting in September.  You will also be expected to attend your regular twice a week ballet class.  To participate, students must be enrolled in  orange, vermillion, peach or red ballet.

Dance Choreography


This course will focus on Dance Composition, or Choreography. Students will have the opportunity to create small dance studies as a soloist, as a duet, and for a group. We will look specifically at the elements of dance including body, space, energy and time and how they can affect a dance composition. In addition, we will learn dance warm-ups based in an athletic style of modern dance and view videos of professional dance. This class is about collaborating, experimenting, creating, discovering and enjoying movement!


Ages 12+*

Kids Sing Mary Poppins

Students will learn basic vocal techniques while singing vocal selections from the popular musical, Mary Poppins. Learn how to sing timeless songs such as “Spoon Full of Sugar,” “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and more! All you need is your voice and the desire to sing!

Musical Theater – Sing, Act, Dance!


This class is perfect for any student who wants to learn more about Musical Theater. We will cover everything it takes to be a triple threat (a strong singer, actor and dancer) through exercises and in class performance opportunities. We will learn basic dance terminology and learn exercise and routines that will help us improve skills. We will spend time improving our acting talents through exercises, scene study and readings. We will focus on being more confident singers and learn basic music terminology.  We will help prepare you for your next audition and work on combating stage fright. We will explore the history of theater and learn about the great artists who have shaped Broadway and those who are currently on stage, writing and designing the shows we all want to see.

Tunes with Toddlers


Toddlers and parents/care givers join together to make music using instruments, singing, movement, and finger play songs to support social skills and pre-academics such as colors, numbers, shapes, and letters.  This group will offer interactive learning through song and movement.  All abilities welcome.

Hamilton Dance Workshop


Come improve your dance skills and have lots of fun as we learn choreography inspired by the music from the smash hit musical Hamilton. Classes will include warm ups, barre work, cross the floor exercises and dance routines. We will focus on improving flexibility, balance, dance terminology and choreography memorization as well as experimenting with the different dance styles used in Hamilton.

Youth Playwriting Workshop (Ages 10+)


Perfect for young playwrights, actors, and other creative kids! Learn the basics of how a play is made—from dialog to stage directions—and brought alive onstage. If you’re a kid who loves to write, this workshop will help you explore the fundamentals of playwriting: plot development, dramatic action, and interesting dialog. If you’re a kid who loves the theater, this workshop will help you understand plays from the very beginning: the script! And if you’re a kid who loves to write AND loves the theater, then what are you waiting for? You were meant to be a playwright!

Literacy through Creative Movement

Come move and play while laying the foundations for literacy in your young child! In each class we will read a children’s book and then use characters and elements within the book to inspire our movement and dance making! Students will build both their spoken and movement vocabulary as they improve locomotor skills and enhance spatial awareness in a fun and creative setting.
