The Dance Program runs September through May and emphasizes technique using an age-appropriate curriculum. The discipline, artistry and technique acquired through the study of dance enhances confidence, focus and poise.
The WOH theatre classes engage the imagination as well as enhance personal communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and collaborations skills. Each session is focused on a different and integrated course of study.
All classes are held at the Woodland Opera House Theatre and Dance Annex unless otherwise noted.

The Woodland Opera House is seeking an experienced dance instructor to teach jazz classes from intermediate to advanced levels.
The Woodland Opera House Education Program is seeking an energetic, professional, positive, reliable, organized instructor who possess a passion for the performing arts. Qualifications for instructors include; Instructor must be at least 18 years of age and have reliable transportation. Must be responsible, organized, punctual, committed, and a team player. Able to work independently to execute curriculum with guidance from the director regarding themes and expectations. Experience working with students ages 7 through 18. Requirements for applicants; Applicants must have a strong background in dance and the ability to teach tap and jazz on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00, September-May. Applicants should be able to instruct and manage medium-large groups of students.
Compensation based on experience level.
