 We are committed to protecting the health and safety of our community by following the guidelines provided by Yolo County and the CDC. We understand that these guidelines are rapidly changing and we may need to modify our programs to remain in compliance.

For Beginning Ballet Dancers: 

 

Beginning Ballet: Ages 8+ – This is a 2-day a week quick immersion into the world of ballet and beginning ballet technique. Focus will be on barre work, with some center and across the floor exercises. Runs Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00 to 10:55 am. Runs from June 26th through July 13th. Tuition: $80. Ms. Anna **This workshop will be held at our 4th Street Rehearsal Studio, 415 4th Street at Main. 

 

For Levels 2 and up:

 

Summer Ballet Intensive: This is a two-week, four day a week ballet intensive for our dancers that are looking to keep their physical strength up through the summer.  Runs Monday through Thursday 4:30 to 6:00 pm June 19th through 29thTuition: $150.  Ms. Crystal

 

Peter and the Wolf and Nutcracker Summer Session: This is a combined intensive for those interested in performing in this selection for our Peter and the Wolf/Nutcracker Sweet holiday production. Must be in levels 2 or above. The workshop runs July 10th through August 3rd, Monday through Friday 4:30 to 6:00 pm. Tuition: $200.  Ms. Ania/Ms. Crystal

 

For our youngest dancers:

 

Summer Creative Movement: Ages 3 to 5 years old. This class is great for developing muscle coordination, fine motor skills, social behavior, and more in a fun and encouraging artistic environment. Mondays and Wednesdays (2 times a week) 9:00 to 9:45 am.  Runs from June 26th through July 12thTuition: $80.  Ms. Anna  **This workshop will be held at our 4th Street Rehearsal Studio, 415 4th Street at Main. 

 

Summer Preparatory Ballet: Ages 6 to 7 years old. This class is great for the new or returning beginning ballet dancer. Class will incorporate fun-movement alongside beginning ballet technique.  Mondays and Wednesdays (2 times a week) 10:00 to 11:00 am.  Runs from June 26th through July 12thTuition: $80. Intro to Improv 

 

Intro to Improv

Ages 10 to 15 years old 

 

Ever wondered what Captain Hook would be like as a Pokemon trainer? Or which Disney character would win America’s Got Talent? Come explore your imagination and flex your creative muscles via improv! We will learn to improve ourselves as actors using improv techniques through games and then put on a show! Come prepared to have fun! – Class runs 90 minutes for 6 weeks.  Class taught by TADA Teaching Artist, Karen Fox.

 

Tuition: $150

Ages: 10 through 15 years old

When: July 8th through August 12th – Saturdays from 10:00 am to 11:30 am

Show Biz Kidz 2023: Broadway, Here I Come! 

 

June 26th through July 23rd 2023

 

Registration Begins: January 3rd, 2023

 

Join us for our 26th year bringing musical theatre education to Yolo County! Show Biz Kidz is a 4 week summer camp where students of all levels get to learn musical theatre skills and techniques all while putting together a fully produced musical revue! TADA Teaching Artists assist campers in learning dance and choreography fundamentals, character development, music and voice theory, and acting skills; everything that is essential for performing onstage! Campers ages 8- to- 10 years old and 11- to- 17 years old attend 5 days a week for 3 hours per day.  Our youngest campers, our 5- to- 7-year olds (please note: 5- year-olds must have completed Kindergarten) join us three days a week for an hour a day. This camp sells out so enroll early! 

 

 

 

Ages: Completed Kindergarten through 17 years old. 

 

Morning Session: Ages 8 through 10 years old 

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm 

Tuition: $400.00

Monday through Friday, 12:30 to 3:30 pm

Juniors: Ages 5* through 7 years old (must have completed Kindergarten)

*Waitlist priority given to those that meet the current age requirements for each group. If a group does not fill by the week before camp is set to begin, we can pull from the rest of the list. Those on the waitlist will be notified up to a few days before camp begins if they will be accepted into the program or not.

 

Tuition includes quality professional instruction on basic to intermediate level musical theatre (choreography/staging, acting/character development, music theory/harmonization/rhythms, stage directions/etiquette, etc), a fully produced musical revue led by some of the top technical talent in the region, and a costume T-Shirt. 

Payment plans are available. Limited scholarship opportunities available.

 

Payments must be paid in full by May 26th, 2022.

 

Due to the popularity of this program, and keeping in line with our regular policies, there are NO REFUNDS once paid in full.

Helpful Information

 

We advise families to send their children in comfortable clothes that they can move well in (i.e. what they would wear for a dance or PE class. No jeans/jean shorts, please!) Please bring a water bottle clearly marked with the child’s name, snacks, and black jazz shoes (there are a limited number available to borrow. Please email our front desk for more information as the camp start date gets closer.)

 

Conflicts: Students may not miss any dress rehearsal or performance dates! Please do not enroll your child if they have any major conflicts (3 or more days or conflicts through Dress Rehearsals/Performances.) 

*Students may be pulled from select choreography for dates missed.  This is at the choreographer’s discretion and out of respect for the students that are attending regularly. 

 
Dress Rehearsals: July 17th through July 21st from (9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Performances: July 21st at 7 pm, July 22nd at 2pm, and July 23rd at 2 pm.
