Serving on the Board
As a public non-profit organization, we are governed by a board of directors made up of leaders from all sectors of Yolo County/Sacramento business and social circles, but all of whom understand and value the importance of the arts to the community and to our children.

Board Meetings
Board meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of every month at the Woodland Opera House, with exceptions as needed. Meetings are held in the 3rd floor meeting room and open to the public. Virtual attendance also available via Zoom. Upcoming 2023 board meetings are on February 1, March 1, April 5, May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2, September 6, October 4, November 1, and December 6.

The Woodland Opera House has various committees that help us run our operations. These include the Nominating, Facilities, Marketing, Historic Presence, Social Media and the Fundraising Committee. Committees are made up of both board members and members of the community.

If you are interested in serving as a member of the theatre’s Board of Directors, or working on one of our guiding committees and need more information, please contact Lou Anderson at (530) 666-9617 or email him at
