Join Curious George, the inquisitive monkey – star of books, movies, and television, in a brand-new musical. Curious George: The Golden Meatball is a loveable adventure, specifically designed for young audiences, that is sure to leave them singing and swinging! George (played by Kate Loscutoff) has been waiting all month for All-You-Can-Eat Meatball Day to come so he can help his friend, Chef Pisghetti (played by Jeff Nauer), cook some delicious meatballs and serve them to a hungry crowd. But this year the crowd has vanished! Something is keeping people away, and Phinneas T. Lightspeed (played by Matthew Franck) with his speedy Meatball-o-Matic machine, is the culprit! George’s best buddy, The Man in the Yellow Hat (played by Spencer Alexander) is also on board to help, along with lots of other fun characters. The musical production is directed by 2017 Elly Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Cheryl Watson, and stage managed by Lisa Bruni. And the incredible production staff includes Lori Jarvey (Music Director), Andrea St. Clair (Choreographer), Mark Deamer & Mike Cartwright (Scenic Design), and Denise Miles (Costume Design).
In celebration of the season, the Opera House will be giving a special Halloween treat to all children in attendance (costume wearing is encouraged) on Saturday, October 30th and Sunday, October 31st.
Reserved seats are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors 62+, and $8 for children 17 and under. Balcony tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Flex Pass specials and group rates are available.
