Introduction to Playwriting

This introductory course emphasizes practice over theory, with improvisational and free-writing exercises that will immediately engage your imagination and creativity. You’ll work with dramatic building blocks such as intentions, objectives, and obstacles—and combine them to produce action. The course will be taught by Bob Cooner and Matthew Abergel, both of whom have had plays produced at WOH.
