Greetings from the Historic Woodland Opera House. We’ve raised the curtain on our 2021-2022 season, and we’re elated to welcome you back!

Your support in the past two years has allowed us to move forward with a successful reopening that has included sold out shows, standing ovations, and incredible reviews. We are committed, again with your help, to keep live-theatre and arts education thriving in Yolo County and the surrounding region.

Our primary fundraiser for the year, Big Day of Giving, is rapidly approaching on Thursday, May 5. This 24-hour campaign, titled Paving the Way for Our Future, with a goal of $75,000, will position us to continue to maintain our gorgeous historic theatre, provide you with an excellent theatrical experience, and enable us to build student enrollment.

Your past contributions have resulted in:

• the reupholstering of all 400+ seats in the auditorium.
• the hiring of a full-time Technical Director.
• the development of our After-School Outreach Program bringing performing arts instruction to 10 WJUSD elementary school campuses.
• the growth of our Show Biz Kidz Summer Theatre Camp. 2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the program, and nearly 1,500 students have attended camp since 1997.

And this year your contributions will make an impact as we look toward:

• purchasing state-of-the-art microphone technology.
• increasing our overall production budget.
• expansion of our educational offerings.
• furthering our partnership with the Woodland Joint Unified School District.
